I was playing with different stacking methods in Nebulosity and got that shot I though made for an interesting image. The stacking method is called colors in motion and basically accentuated my pretty bad polar alignment tonight on the field. The result is a bit similar to the star trails when doing a static shot of the sky but in this case the tracking works while the field rotates.

makes for an interesting effect...
Would probably be worth experimenting with on a target like the helix. Helix would still appear round (provided it was center of frame) and all the stars would be spiraling around it...
Interesting Marc.... I like it.

Actually you don't have to center your frame. The axis for the field rotation goes through the star you pick to guide on.

Interesting effect Marc. It looks great.
Why don't you image a (Spiral) Galaxy and use the same processing technique putting the Galaxy in the centre. That would make an interesting image.
Hmmmm, that sure is different, it dose have some merit in the effect department.
