Now there's the sort of shot you simply don't see every day - hose cam!

I hope you dont mind me having a chuckle at this

However I do know how corrosive mouse excrement can be. Hope the scope is ok.

to be honest guys nothing was going to save the scope ..i was hopeing to maybe have a look through it out of curiosity.. I spent my $5 for the tripod
its pretty sturdy and is made out some sort of hardwood like timber .
My binos are fairly light and if I can I'll mount them atop :)

Is that a big optic fibre going back to your rack mounted HiDef imaging system?

Cheers,
Jason.

I'm thinking processed bamboo trev :) its not pine and has a very fine grain but is fairly light ..and its been sitting in the weather for months and despite the stain flakeing away its still pretty intact.

yep jase the fibre is encased in a nylex 13mm water cooled interfaceing cable running back to a submain preasurised brass adjustable coolant delivery system .

I can tell your all suitably impressed :) :)

I see lots of scope to add peltier cooling here but I bet the tube currents are murder :D.

My mistake semantically but as I read in the text it just didnt sound quite kosher.

:hi:

Id kill for a rig like that, lossy cooling, but the tracking must be awesome with the solid hardwood tripod and miniature, invisible, self-guiding apparatus built into the top of the hardwood tripod. The cooled fibre connection from the tiny, mega cooled, gega pixel cam is also noteworthy and would allow the kind of noise free data transfer we all dream of. Nice gear, Im jealsous

Is it fiberoptic? I thought it's just a cable to inflate the whole setup to 14" RC scope with STL-11000M CCD camera mounted on Paramount ME :-)

Sorry to report guys that due to my long held belief that refractors
are best suited to to land fill or findersopes ,,this one ,,has moved on to a better place.:D:P
