A bit shorter focal length than we're used to seeing in here...

Taken @ 200mm F/4..

Editing:
Contrast/exposure
ME Deconvolution (on moon only)
Saturation tweaked.

All done in photoshop..

Nice one, Alex:thumbsup:

A nice morning in Bris...if a tad breezy.

I got excited when I saw the clear blue sky this morning...only to check the maps and see atmospheric conditions don't look flash for tonight:(

I'd like to get some more good Jupiter data before the show's over for another year.

Man... do as I do... Battle it out with okish seeing...

Last week I got a few shots at 6.1M FL that came out pretty good.. (my best yet by far.) All is not lost... its just not perfect..

Thanks guys.. I was actually pretty impressed that the moon came out as well as it did... I thought it would be too washed out, but a touch of editing and it came out fairly contrasty..

Er...yeah.

Trawl back through images I've produced over the last few years and posted here and you'll see that's exactly what I have done.

You keep on battling. I'll keep an eye on conditions and go from there:thumbsup:

No offence...it's just horses for courses.

Having said that, I've set up tonight even though all the indicators are suggesting it's not going to be too good.

It just means I may not bother processing the data.
