Hi Guys,

Sorry I haven't been around nor have ive been imaging due to my relocation. I thought time for some reprocessing to stay in shape. Heres a M20 I did early this year. Fixed up a few bits and pieces from which i got lazy to do .

Was taken with a modified 350D with 7 x 7 minutes exposure at ISO 400.

Cheers :)

Nice to see you back Eric, I thought you were buried under a load of DSLR's :help:

Did you move away from the shopping centre mate ? Do you have darker skies to image in now ?

M20 looks good by the way but then you already knew that ;) colours and sharp detail are great.

Cheers

Very nice Eric. Great colours, perfectly framed and very sharp. When are we going to see some new images?

Excellent image Eric. The colours are great and lots of detail within the nebula.

Great to see some images from you again even if they are old ones. :)

Hi Eric

I don't remember the first version (strange since we don't see too many shots of the Trifid huh? :P) but this is great, one of the best DSLR images I've seen of the trifid on this forum? It has a real class quality about it.

Fantastic work IIIII'm excited!! (said like the late Big Kev) :)

LOL thanks Mike appreciate your comments. I managed to stretch out more details and a few tiny adjustments. Any more will certainly increase noise.

cheers.

Great to see you back Eric.
I prefer the second image, you've really pulled out some detail in the blue outer edges of M20. Sharp stars with good colour too!

Cheers,

Rob

Spectacular Eric. I recall seeing the original. Reflection nebulosity looked black clipped. This has really turned into a masterpiece. Lovely colours and visually pleasing details. Good stuff.
