The evening of July 3 was cold and clear in the Blue Mountains west of Sydney and a great opportunity to try out the new 127mm refractor from Gilman in Nanjing.
I certainly enjoyed the night under a clear sky!

127ED triplet
6x900s, QHY8 gain 1, offset 119
Median stacked in DSS, processing in Photoshop
EQ6 mount, guided with a webcam on an ST80 using GuideDog.

Not bad Rob! nice result!
I would prefer a little more contrast in the neb myself and a little more magenta but well guided, and nice star colors!

Excellent image. Great tracking, nice star colours, the nebula colour looks good. Really well done.

Gotta love refractor images - they rock.

Greg.

Well done Rob. Indeed, you've managed/maintained the star colours very well. A visually pleasing feast.

Nice one Rob, lots of stars. A little washed out, perhaps a little more time with curves in PS.
