Nice to hear of things that do work out of the box. I enjoyed the review and am glad you like it. What kind of eyepiece did it come with?

Hi, the supplied eyepiece is a Meade 26mm QX Wide Angle Eyepiece. The only other eyepieces that I have used are the less than expensive ones that came with the 4.5 Orion reflector and the Celestron 8" SCT.

All I can say, not surprisingly, is that the Meade 26 is a superior eyepiece to the ones that I have used. And I don't really believe that is really saying very much that will be of any help.:shrug:
