Saw this on Ozbgarin site and wonder if it is any good for Astro work. I used to use it ages ago when it was very limited. But I have heard its on par with Photoshop. Has anyone used it sucesfully for Astroimaging?

Hi Fahim, I've been using version 10 for about 6 months now. I find it to be a good alternative to Photoshop.

Fahim, I fully agree with Ric. I have only been astroimaging for a few months now, but I have been using PaintShop Pro for years - from version 7 to 8 to 9 and recently, 10. I think it is a very good alternative to Photoshop, and considerably cheaper.

Thanks for the tip Netwolf.
I've just ordered 3 copies from Ted's Cameras for work and home use.
I've been using version 5 for general editing and marking up of photos for a number of years waiting for a cheap upgrade to come along.
PSP may not be the market leader but it does everything I want.
Cheers,
Peter
i am using vers 12 atm, its just as good as PS in every way as far as i am concerned :)
great for editing terestrial pics, i dont do any astro pics but it has all the same tools and PS plugins work on it too...
