Hi all,

Here's an image of the ISS pass over Brisbane yesterday evening. It was relatively low in the sky, but the ISS was passing above Saturn and Mars just before entering the Earth's shadow, so I thought it might be a good photo opp! The sky came out a bit brighter that I'd hoped, but I guess it was about a 75 sec exposure so that's not too surprising.

It's interesting to note that a similar image could potentially be obtained from both Mars and Saturn (which appear in the centre of this image), since both of these planets currently have a probe in orbit. Of course the dust and clouds might make that difficult...

Cheers,
Stephen

Nice shot Stephen! What camera do you use for all of your shots?

Thanks Mike,

It's a Pentax K100D. For this shot used an 18-50mm lens @ 18mm. (f/5.6 and 400iso I think)

Cheers,
Stephen
