Hi All,

We didn't get an occultation in Brisbane last night, but there was a nice close pairing of the Moon and Antares. It was mostly cloudy here, but there were some gaps, and I managed to get a few hand-held afocal shots of the pair at about 10pm, using a 130mm Newt. One of the better ones is attached. It was a great sight through the scope!

I like that picture Stephen. Amazing how a differance in latidude affects the position of Antares.

Dennis, it was mostly clouds here too (Indooroopilly), but there were breaks of about 15 or 20 seconds every few minutes. Just enough time to grab a couple of shots!
