I got my first scope

Hi All,

I took Friday off work & went out and bought my first telescope - Skywatcher Mak 150 Pro & HEQ5 Pro mount. Saw Saturn, Jupiter & the moon that first night, wicked.

Now to accessorise.

Now watch....next it's a a set of good 1.25 or 2" eyepieces, a set of filters for both visual and photographic use, then a good CCD camera (no, make that 2 or 3), a guidescope and autoguider, a good 2nd scope with accessories, then an even better 3rd scope (in the 24" class at least), with all the best you can get:D:P:eyepop::D

:D Jupiter and saturn are always sure to sucker you in to your new hobby!! Get that HEQ5 to give you a tour of the sky around 10 - 11pm and you'll see some real treasures this time of year.. :D

Forget the wallet fold. My wallet asn't been folded since I got my 10" GSO Dob. Filters, eye pieces improve the mount add a camera bribe my wife so I can buy yet another eye piece :sadeyes: buy a laptop to connect the camera to etc etc etc
