Lunar X illumination coming - July 2008

The fully formed X-shaped illumination near the terminator to be visable by 1255 UT on July 10, 2008.


Will the moon be "up" and the sky dark at 1255 UT in Australia? :shrug: :)

Because if it's not, you won't be able to see the illumination.

Well, it'll be dark and an opportunity Dana - unfortunately it's bucketing rain at my location and forecast to continue! :( Thanks for the heads-up!

will take a peek tonight..though they are predicting winds that will blow a G11 over :(
