Here I am like a big kid out enjoying the snow this morning. (It is still snowing and getting heavier!!)

Wow! it looks like a blizzard, Ken. I wanna go scoping this weekend to the Otways, to show some of the highlights of the Southern skies to a friend of a friend visiting from Italy. It might be too cold though. I don't like the prospect of frosty optics. :cold:

We seemed to have missed most of the snow down in the NE Tas area, just a sprinkling on the mountains to the east, maybe tomorrow. This is what it looks like after a reasonable dump on the mountains.:cold:

Looks like one of those ones they use for Jigsaw Puzzles.
And NO ellex & Dave! that's not one of my fangs or an icicle.

Hey it sounds cold enough to be Duckadang. At least it didn't snow there. Weird today though. It was 12 deg at 8 am and 6 deg by lunch time and its still 6 deg now. That just doesn't happen here!!! I wish it would snow here though. You guys that haven't seen it don't know what you're missing. Playing in the snow is in the top 5 things my family likes to do. Except my wife. She's from Christchurch

Yes Paul, Snow is fun. You tend to forget the cold when it's snowing.
Yesterday when we had the heavy falls the school let the kids out in it to play for about 2 hours!!

12-08-2005, 10:23 PM
See the teachers are not dumb they know when the kids are completely ape, and when to let them go
ballaratdragons
12-08-2005, 10:28 PM
Ha! According to the teachers themselves they had more fun in the snow than the kids did!! While the kids where just standing in it letting it fall on them or kicking it about, the teachers had a snowball fight.
Which ones are the kids?? Good on them.
Hey, they got out of teaching for a couple of hours and the principal is on holidays in Perth LOL!
