well... last week I went to australia zoo to take photos, and due to my ISO mishap that I mentioned in last weeks thread, I purchased a 2nd day pass when I left...

I went back today, checked and re-checked my ISO speed... and got a few nice photos...

There's also one from earlier this-morning while at home, Thought I'd throw it up just because I love my toys.. :)

yep - 70-200 F4... Some of them are a bit soft... I forgot to do some sharpening in PS... although the shot of the roo is unbelievably sharp with no enhancement at all... :)

I have one in my CF card with the cheetah staring straight at me... the mirror was creating a little bit of a flashing effect through the lens and it caught his eye... I thought I was in for a thrashing!!

Was only about 3m away, and during the display they were saying they can do 0-80km in just under 3seconds.. Faster than a Porsche GT3.. and there was only a 3ft fence high fence between them and me!

Thanks Liz, I go haywire cleaning my gear after every observing session.. wipe it all down then go over it with a fine tooth comb and wipe clean any greasy finger prints or dirt/dust marks... Shame I cant reach the primary mirror through the open aperture.. otherwise it would receive a clean after ever session too... :) closer to once every 5 or 6 sessions the mirror comes out for a clean.. (if needed.)
