I hope the clouds clear enough to have a look tonight. I haven't been doing much astronomy lately... I've been busy placing 12 cubic metres of rock around the well to make it safe;). It's taken 3 weeks after work and weekends, but the well is officially safe now:thumbsup::D. (And I'm over moving rocks!:P)

Next project will be getting the site ready for the POD;), after which I'll be back in astromode!:D

Lovely image, Rob.

Mars and Saturn are closest on the 14th, isn't it?

If someone had clear skies for 2 weeks it would make a great animation to see them photographed from the same location and see them closing in on each other.

Hey Mike
The Mars-Saturn Conjunction is on the 11th and it is up on the Calendar.
Should be a good photographic opportunity !
