Focal reducer for LX200R ?

Hi everyone,

Has anyone tried the Optec maxfield 3.3 reducer on their LX200R scope?
I know they are for only small chips up to 11mm but I will be using it with a video system with a 8mm chip.
I have a optec F7 which is great but want to get my scope down to F3.3.
Thoughts anyone?

It should work, but as you said, a very small viewing area..

Just make sure you get the spacing right, or you will be having more issues..
