Hello to all,
Thought I'd share this image I took of M62 in Oph.

Its a composite of 17 x 30 sec at 1600iso + 1 x 30 sec dark at 1600iso
8 x 2 min at 400iso + 1 x 2 min dark at 400iso

The images were taken over two nights. 23 and 27 June.

Stacked in DSS and slight processing in Photoshop with noise reduction.

Taken with a Canon 350D with broadband DSF at prime focus with a Saxon ED80 and piggybacked on my 10" LX200.

This actual shot is an entry into our Clubs (Wollongong Amateur Astronomy Club) challenge of the month.

Thanks Matty and Renormalised,
For you kind words...

I was a single image person but I have seen the light so to speak, short exposures and more of them, stacked with slight processing brings good rewards just the same.

Lets move on to the next DSO.

A nice image Paul, it looks so lonely in that widefield.

Cheers
