It's wet windy and cold in Perth has been for the last two days. Spent Saturday doing the shopping, playing on the computer and working on my second version of a side by side mount. Not a chance in hades of getting any viewing in before Wednesday (maybe). I believe Melbourne for a change has had nice weather all week.
Life sucks sometimes

The only consolation Trevor is that all this cloud and rain will blow over to mudbourne by mid next week. :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D: D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

The only consolation for us Melbournians is that it will be poor weather in Adelaide before it gets to us.

Yesterday arvo I needed a periscope for the first half of the trip home from work and ice-skates for the rest as 3cm round lumps of ice fell from the sky. The lightning was also fairly commanding of my attention :help:.
I have NO sympathy for anyone in Perth. Not the slightest tiny bit. With the amount of sunhsine, clear days/nights and warm they have year round compared to us, they *deserve* to endure a bit of rain and "cold". 2 days of rain and cloud and life sucks??? Christ mate, come to Melbourne. Then you'll know what REAL crap weather is. With that attitude, you probably would've suicided back in May :mad2:
Sorry but I just got a touch annoyed that someone from Perth actually has the gall to say "life sucks" when confronted with 2 measely days of cloud and rain after days upon days of clear skies and temps of 20ºC or more. Come to Melbourne, we havent had a single bloody clear sky or temperature above 18ºC since Mid-May, and only 5 clear nights since April, all of them with crap seeing.
I await the day when we get clear skies at Perth's expense for once.

Oh well a hint of jealousy no doubt maybe you should move to Perth we accept anyone over here. Spoilt maybe but I forgot to mention the 4-5 days preceding these few where it's been overcast etc.

Forecast is for it to be clear all tonight, Trevor. If you're keen :)
The radar looks a tiny bit patchy still, but the sky is clear and a cold clear night is predicted. Sure cold already.
I won't be doing anything tonight - I have had a cold all weekend so can't be out in the cold :mad2: and the forecast isn't sure enough for me to leave the gear running unattended.
But it does look like an opportunity calling...
Roger.

I spent a bit of time in Mudbourne so I know what you mean (4 seasons in one day etc). I remember going over in Nov 1999, I left here and it was 36 degrees and sunny only to arrive in Mudbourne which was still in mid winter. That said, we have been spoilt over here for the last 3 or four years due to the drought. I can barely remember a day in which I could not see the heavens above so we are bound to whinge about any water falling from the sky and rightfully so too as it should only rain during the day when I am at work. I still however have no sympathy for Mudbournians as our football teams really suck this year and thus you guys deserve what you get and its been raining for days as well so there:D.
