Hi Guys, My Orion StarShoot Auto Guider arrived today, and eager to put it through it's paces I hooked it up to the Tak, loaded the software, got it focused, and it performs like a charm. ;)

However, for the first time in about 6 weeks the clouds have parted, and the sky is crystal clear, but now it has decided to blow a gale, a bit like a cyclone actually, :eyepop: with stronger winds to come later tonight.

What dose a bloke have to do to get a few hours of imaging

Just thought I would share that with you

Leon

I guess it is winter, but strong wind is good for nothing.

Hang in there Leon, it will pass.

Same conditions here as well Leon, beautiful sky but too windy for my liking. I rather miss out than risk the scope.

Leon don't blame yourself... It's all those blokes who bought the new 127mm refractors.

Everybody please only take delivery of new scopes during a full moon.
