Hi all
This was hard to get, uncataloged and in a really awkward postion. I had to unbolt the mount and point it where it simply couldnt slew normally.
An interesting interaction bettween these 2 galaxies, eventually they will merge.
Taken on an 11" MCOS f8, ST9.6XME GME11 mount.

Thanks Fred.
Sounds like it is low at the moment. Perhaps a spring/summer target?
Greg.

Very nice piccie there, Fred:D
Interacting galaxies are always interesting to look at.
Ah Fred. You're a worry, alas I admire your efforts.... Looks like someone has too much time on their hands.

I must say, there was over 153hrs of exposure time there, your right Jase, took a long time.
Lovely galaxies Fred, they somehow seem vaguely familiar.:D

suppose its gear you need to find these co-ordinates
RA-420deg 32" and DEC -643deg 12"
its something to do with those curled up extra dimensions the string theorists keep talking about

LOL, its the evil spawn of what happens when an RCOS/PME gets too close to a Meade/G11 and it then takes a picture :D

Unfortunately, the male hybrids are sterile, so they'll never breed true:P:D
