When using Images Plus to control a DSLR is there anyway to prevent the images from being downloaded to the computer automatically? I want to save the images on the CF Card only.

Cheers

Believe there is Paul.

Will go and fire up IP and have a look for you, I think there is a Check Box in Camera Control somewhere.

In ED Canon DSLR Control, on the connect page, down the bottom are 3 options, Camera, Computer or both.

I can almost visualise that you are going to say you don't use the ED DSLR control .

I've just noticed something interesting when using the Mirror Lock up, IP deducts 4 sec from the exposure time to compensate for mirror lockup. :confuse3: In DSLR Focus the Mirror Lock up time can be set manually and isn't deducted from the exposure time. That sort of thing needs should be noted when taking darks. You could end up with dark frames 4 sec longer than the light frames.

Or leave the Mirror Lockup ticked......

Even with the Mirror Lockup ticked it still deducted 4 sec from the exposure.

I also trialled it with the ICNR. I took 2/35sec shots, each missed 4 sec on the light so were only 31" long, and then the ICNR went for 44". I guess though there is the time required to write the light frame to the card, the time to take the ICNR and then the time to apply it to the light. But if the ICNR frame was the full 35" then it would have been an incorrect calibration.
