Hello
Another difficult night with clouds last night but managed to salvage 7x10 minutes subframes from the 21 I took, again all unguided with Ha filter. Look forward to some nights with no cloud so that I can get more subframes. There is a better quality image on my website http://www.imagingtheheavens.co.uk
Best wishes
Gordon:)

Nice work Gordon. The Crescent Neb is a personal favourite of mine. I'm looking to acquire this target soon. Enjoy the rich data you've displayed. Keep up the good work.

Thanks Gordon for that interesting image. I looked at 6888 last week with my 12" Dob and a UHC filter. Only the bright parts were visible and it was low in the sky here. I saw all of it last year with a 30" at the Queensland Astrofest.
Hi Gordon, a fascinating and highly detailed image.
I hope you get some better nights for imaging soon.
Cheers

Hi Guys
Thanks for the encouraging comments, I agree with the comments about the Ha filter, personally I think everybody should have at least this filter in their armour and if they haven't well they don't know what they are missing, hopefully I will be doing some OIII and SII later in the year. I have one more weeks potential imaging before I go on an "enforced!" 2 week trip to San Francisco and Las Vegas with my girlfriend at the end of June so may do some data when I get back
Best wishes and clear skies to all
Regards
Gordon
