That link took me to a heavily compressed image Peter with blocky stars like the image needed to be expanded :shrug:. Allowing for this though... it looks pretty dam good :thumbsup:

Comparing with Yohannes and Adams recent versions though it appears that dark skies deffinitely help huh? They were 20" and 24" scopes of course.

Nice work Peter, though I agree with Mike that I noticed some nasty compression artifacts around some stars and a general blotchiness around hte halo.

But the galaxy itself, absolutely beautifuL!
