Hello,

The seeing looked quite promising last night, with some bouts of 7/10 tailing off to 5 to 6/10 towards 9:00pm. Here is a 2 pane mosaic of the Hyginus and Triesnecker Rilles captured around 7:30pm.

Mewlon 180, TeleVue x2.5 PowerMate, DMK21AF04.AS CCD camera.

It was so nice to be back outside again, pointing the 'scope skywards and wrestling with somewhat dormant skills and unfamiliar equipment!

Cheers

Nice work Dennis, a lovely area of the moon with the fractured lava filled crust.

Thanks guys. I’ll have to pay more attention next time; I never seem to get the panes to line up, they always come out off-set, like steps!

Cheers

Thanks Clive and yes, weren’t they exciting times, the era of Mercury, Gemini and Apollo. It seemed that every day something was going on.

Cheers
