Have a couple sheets of black flockng paper - the type that is not self adhesive that I plan to use to flock the tube (a length of 12" PVC storm water pipe).

Any suggestions on a suitable adhesive I might use to glue the flocking paper to the inside of the tube ?

Something that will not be too gooy and wont destroy the PVC would be good.
Anyone know of a spray on adhesive that might do the job ?

There is a glue spray for graphic designers and
Photographers at two levels of bonding force. Spray a layer
every surface, let dry, place a clean paper between the
two surfaces, stick the edge as a reference and then you go
removing the protective paper and pasting. One of the sprays
it is possible to rectify, but the other does not admit mistakes!

why not try PVA wood glue? Not sure how it bonds to pvc so you would have to test it on a scrap piece of tube and flocking.
The beauty of it is that you can give the inside a coat of it slightly watered down and you should be able to work the flocking around a little to get it nice and smooth and free of wrinkles.
cheers

I'll give the PVA glue a try with a piece of test PVC tube (got a bit I used a rocket launcher at the beach that I wont miss if if evaporates or turns into a gooy heap.
