Cheryl asked me tonight if it can been seen through a telescope. I just showed her the pic in the link above and both of us are amazed at the quality!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The only way I could possibly hand guide with that precision would be through a spotting scope. That's nuts!

It's hard enough to see it on a pass over your location in the night sky at times, to see something like that is totaly awsum... :eyepop:

Oh bugger you beat me to it. Justin Tilbrook is famous for finding two comets, you may remember the comets. He has a very nice setup, and if you think your equipment isn't up to it, he used an 8" f7 scope. Magnification helps! I saw his setup when I checked out his observatory to get ideas on how to do mine. He has nice dark skies too.
