Up in the cold again this morning to image Mars. Seeing was only average again unfortunately.

EQ platform was very well aligned, was able to move the planet left or right through the FOV using the speed adjuster knob on the platform.

Took most avi's at FL 3750mm (3x barlow), but at the end, tried with a 2x and 2.4x stacked to give a FL of 6000mm. While I like the image scale, the seeing just wasn't up for it.

Small image processed in registax and astraimage, larger image processed in registax only.

The simulation on the right is by T.Ikemura from this website: http://www.kk-system.co.jp/Alpo/MS2005/MSmenu.htm

Comments welcome.

Nice stuff Mike. Just out of interest did you find that the capture settings are vastly different from say Jupiter?
