I bought an Olympus Zuiko Digital 8mm fisheye lens (arrived 2 days ago) for the E-510. Just playing about. :D
All images taken at 1600ASA, 8mm, f/3.5, all exposures over 1 minute. First one looking south (Sydney skyglow on the left), the second one looking straight into the Sydney skyglow with Scorpius rising, and the last one looking north with the glow from Oberon.

looks promising Al, id love to see what you could do with that from dark skies
Very nice Al, I always enjoy the fisheye effects both on land and in the sky.
I must purchase one of these lens, there is no end to the options it can provide.
Cheers

some star trails but maybe if you put it on a tracking mount you'd get rid of those?or shoot 30 secs subs
