I finally got the chance to image Jupiter yesterday. I spent a bit of time observing Joop through the EP almost forgetting to connect the camera. The Moon was only 2.5 degrees N of Jupiter making this imaging session that much better. :D
I honestly can't remember when was the last time I had imaged a planet so it was great to get back into it. The seeing started of fairly decent but it quickly deteriorated during the night.
Taken with my Celestron 8SE SCT, DMK and a 2x Barlow. 1/60sec exposure shooting at 60fps. Stacked in R4 and processed in PS CS3.
The second image shows Io and Europa together. Ganymede and Callisto were also there but they didn't fit of the FOV.
Thanks for looking.
