Just downloading it now... all 422Mb for the 4.0Pro version :eyepop:

...and there were people complaining that MS WWT was big at only 20-something meg.

Looks good though. Included in the Pro version is a 500m resolution Clementine map. That should be stunning. Can't wait for the download to finish.... even at 8mbps ADSL it's taking 20 minutes - so slowish server at that end or high traffic.

The download for the 4.0 Pro version seemed like it was taking forever... a good 25 minutes on broadband...I don't think I would try it on dial-up...

The program itself seems pretty cool...another useful tool for "lunatics!

Still, with all its added features v4.0 is smaller than v3.5 (496 Mb)....

Anyone else had trouble downloading the 420M version? I've had 2 goes this month... got about 322M the first time and about 40M the second. Both time I got a "file is unreadable" error.

Guess I'll have to wait till next month to have another go (I don't want to blow my 3GB limit on satellite).

I'll be downloading it once my speed comes back up to normal, again (busted my 10GB limit a few days back!!). It's a really good piece of software, and now with Clementine data, it's very useful for planetary geologist/astronomers.

Just finished downloading and avast 4 home edition found a virus but was able to remove it and it still works just a word of warning. Love the program

I doubt it was a virus Warren, probably a false alarm. Did you grab it direct from their site or via eMule etc? I'd *never* recommend using eMule etc, a virus infested pit of crud imho...

I tried to download from the link provided in the post and it failed twice at only 30-40 meg then I googled and found its home site not "eMule" haven't heard of eMule sounds like that is a good thing that I haven't heard of it.

Ah. eMule is a piece of software that us commonly used with pirating music and videos. Sort of like Limewire. Any stuff like that I do not recommend.
