Hi All

With a full moon burning brightly in clear skies I was ambitious to try this target. However I wasn't feeling real tired as it came into my scopes f.o.v. at around 4am so I had a go. Quite pleased with the outcome but I'll be having another crack with darker skies in a week or two.
I also shot 7 frames of M16 before meridian flip wrecked the composition so if it's any good I'll post it later when I finish processing.

1 hour total exposure, 12x300sec subs, auto guided ST2000XCM, SW 200mm F5 Newt, MPCC, UV/IR, LPS2

p.s. Got to bed just after 6am

Not a bad effort at all - especially considering the full moon!

A good result Steve, well done.

To bad about the Full Moon but it looks promising overall.

Yep, more data required there Steve. A fine effort none the less.

Yep, can see the Moon effect, but that hasn't taken away from a nice effort Steve, looking forward to that one myself in the near future,

Nice capture Steve, pity the old moon was hanging around but the detail that you've brought out looks very good.

Cheers

Thanks everyone for your comments.

Eric and Jase .... I would have got more data but it was nearly 6am by the time I finished and I was bloody cold and tired ... there's always another night .... God willing .... not for a while here though from the weather forecast.

p.s. I think darker skies for this fuzzy too ............... full moon ..... not good !
