On Firday night I decided to have another look at the Supernova in NGC4945. The sky started out clear but by the time I was imaging the cloud was rolling it. Got a couple of 3min shots through high cloud, but generally it was a wasted session astrophograph wise. :cloudy:
However I managed to get something out of the image that showed that the supernova has dimmed significantly and gone very red.
Not sure if this means anything, but I wonder what will happen next. I guess it'll just dissappear, and any supernova remnants will be far to dim to see/image.
For comparison here is what it looked like a couple of months ago.
