Taken around 5:06 this morning after a week of cloud.

Seeing got up to around 7/10.

Imaged for 30fps x 45secs for B & G, then 15fps x 45s for Red.

i will extend that out next time to say 55s x 15fps R and 40 secs each in B & G

The white spot in the NEB has sheared (some cheeky bugger in canberra could actually see this on his screen live :P).

It will be very interestting to follow this spot over the next few weeks

That's really nice, Dave. I like your new processing and colours - very smooth image.

About time you got some decent seeing.. it must've been killing you when the mainland boys were having clear nights and good seeing every night :)

Very nice, David. (I especially like the font.)

PS As regards the image, please consider my mind officially blown, to use the vernacular. (If there were a smilie that depicted an exploding brain I would insert it just about... here.)

Salutations,

Brian.

Fantastic effort Dave, especially considering the burnoff smoke that's in the valley at the moment.

Hi DP, hard to beat this one. Lovely natural look, smooth, but with all the fine detail you could want:)

I'm curious that you did 15fps for red and 30fps for B and G. I would have thought blue would be as dark as red and need 15fps too if the red channel did?

Anyway, top shot:thumbsup:

Great work Dave, the fine details are coming through nicely. glad to see you getting some nice weather down there.

thanks heaps guys.

Rob, the sirius optics filters have the red transmitting about 60% as much as the blue, the green transmits around 90% of the blue.

I am going to be buying some astronomiks filters soonish
