Well, 7 or 8 of us W.A.A.C.ers had our normal Fri. & Sat. nights Ob. sessions at our dark sky site & early tonight,(Sat), Garry,(a new member), turned up. We did the usual, ie; "Garry, have you seen Omega Cent., Jewel Box,?" etc etc..... A bit later we were having a coffee break & he came over with todays newspaper,(page 8, SMH). He showed us this article..... There's not a lot of info. there, but it's amazing what images they're getting from this Mars Express probe. Don't know if you've seen it yet, so have a look. :D L.

What a great shot that is, 35km wide crater, do you know what depth it is??

I wonder what sort of fish could be swimming around up there ?:confused:

Yeah that would be one of the first places to look for life.
