Hi all,
here is a reprocess from that morning of good seeing. Thought I would start a new thread and get away from the big grainy ones I posted in my over excitement.
I will try and keep a lid on my over processing from now on; (but no promises).

They're really nice, Lester.
You've got the right balance of image scale and detail. Nice colours, too!
Really nice images Lester

I am a beginner but nice images to look at. Plenty of detail and natural colour. Well done.

There is always so much detail in your images Lester.
I'm blown away by these.
Very nice, again:)
You mention in your opening thread you are getting away from overprocessing. What have you done differently with this image/s compared to previous images? It certainly looks smoother and more pleasing overall:thumbsup:
You're compiling a very collection of Joop 2008 images. Keep it up!

Matt, mainly I have reduced the waveletts I apply in registax. I use to like pulling out maximum detail in there and now I know that can be very harsh on the end result.

Lester, the reprocessed one looks fantastic!
congrats!
I envy you guys 'down there' on the other half of the earth for having jup decently high up in the sky.
here in austria, he creeps around far below 30°,...seeing is not existent in that way...
