Hi
Ive reduced it slightly in size but it is my most detailed ever image of it. This time with my new unmodded 450D. Focused accurately with Live View (what a good thing that is), was near meridian as well when i imaged it
Here it is (http://www.iceinspace.com.au/uploads/omegacent6x3minsiso200450d10inch.jp g)

That's a very nice image there... one to be proud of!

Hi Scott,
Lovely image. Just my opinion but maybe you could make it just a tad brighter? Anyway that 450D looks like it will be a real winner :)
Paul
Another nice one Scott, it seems you have been quite busy of late, and are pushing out some nice detailed images, wish I could say the same, if the weather dosen't clear soon it will be full Moon again.

Excellent image Scott.
It is great to see what the 450D is capable of.
Well done.

nice one Scott
Very nice, Scott.
Those stars are very sharp...very crisp, especially in the unexpanded view.
Looks 'cool' in terms of overall colour.
Well done:thumbsup:

I would concur with above stars are very sharp and crisp, also nice and round. The 450D seems to be a winner.

Thanks all. Yes, the live view is very handy as is the 14 bit images
Scott
Very well resolved with pinpoint stars Scott.
I'd agree with Zuts though, maybe brighten it a little.
The 450D's looking good.

Nice work Scott, sure making great use of that camera that's not supposed to be used for astrophotography :)

Dazzling mate....just perfect mate!

Lovely shot there Scott. THe stars in the glob are well resolved.
How do you make such large image dimensions?
Beautiful.

Wow Scott that's excellent mate!
My only critique would be that the high degree of resolution you have pushed for (and got) is losing you that "ball" effect that makes a globular look like a globular rather than an open cluster, brightening the centre a bit may help and you have plenty of resolution to work with there so you shouldn't lose too much of it...still a great image...wouldn't mind a 450D myself....:confuse3:

Thanks for the input and suggestions :)
Paul, it was 6x3 mins at ISO200 (allowing me the full 14 bit depth of the sensor for each sub)
