Managed to get out last night with the WO ED80 and watec 120N+ camera togo trolling for galaxies. I wanted to test the pointing of the mount with ECU planetarium program and some other bits and pieces. It was a rare night where every object wound up on the chip after polar aligning the mount and doing a three star alignment.
Photos are 100 frames of 10sec stacked with dark frame removal. I could have taken longer integrations but I wanted to do as many as I could. Ive sent them as negatives as some of the satellite galaxies are very faint and a strecth for this type of imaging. For a very small lightweight camera this is a real gem.

Nice collection, and very good detail for the exposures  The stars look nice and sharp, although I have to admit having them negative makes it a little hard to compare to the norm :) What type of combine did you use? (average/add/median/sigma/etc)

They look good when you load them into PS and invert them ! Good effort.

A lovely selection Allan with a few fainter fuzzies hidden in some of them.

The negative image always reminds me of the plate images of the major observatories of the 50's & 60's

Great stuff

Nice collection Allan. It sure makes a big difference when the goto puts the object straight on the ccd.
