Suggested Modifications

I have recently purchased an ED80, and I was wondering if anyone has any suggested mods for this scope.

I know the focuser needs replacing or attention.

I recently purchased a WO Synta/ Skywatcher focuser for my 120mm refractor apparently fits scopes from 3" to 6" the quality of this focuser is superb and I would highly recommend.

Field flattener telecompressor lens ? ... even APOs have a curved focal surface ... you want that flattened for edge to edge sharp stars .
