Hutech modified Canon 20D DSLR - $950
http://www.sciencecenter.net/hutech/canon/index.htm
The camera is still in good condition (original box and all the bits) and has been used to take almost all of the photos in my gallery (including a few winners of David Malin awards last year):

The camera has a clear filter in the rear position (replacing the original Canon UV-IR filter). Since this is the 20D, it has mirror lock-up and other features not on the 350D, which otherwise has the same sensor. I’ve upgraded to a modified 40D, but as my own tests show, the 20D still holds its own remarkably well:

For an extra $250 I’ll include:
Hutech LPS-P2 Front Filter: Light Pollution Suppression/Nebula Enhancement used for 90% of my astrophotography (Cost from Hutech is US$289).
Two Canon BP-511 Batteries
1GB Compact Flash Memory Card
Cheers
Phil.
