Hi All,
I'm on a roll two imaging sessions in one week after a year off!
Seeing was a little better this morning at around 6/10.
This is the first of a few avis... may be better to come, maybe not... I don't think I'm getting the best out of this one, it promised more in the individual channels but didn't come to pass when I combined. Ah well can't complain. At least it was clear and reasonably steady.
cheers,
Rob

nice going there Robert!
Good work, Rob.
Plenty of detail and nice processing.
Yeah. I know what you mean. Exactly the same thing happens when I RGB image. I'm still trying to work out what's going on there:shrug:
My first thoughts are it's a colour balance issue. It might be a case of tweaking the channels to make sure the detail comes through clearer.

Hi Rob
A nice couple of captures with heaps of details; you haven’t lost your skills eh!
I had a peek around 2:00am (chasing down some differential flexure issues between guide scope and imaging scope) but decided to give it a miss as the seeing only looked average.
You proved me wrong!
Cheers

Thanks guys... still processing so should have some new ones to post soon. Unfortunately I think the one below is probably going to be the best if em. Looks like seeing deteriorated throughout the session... either that or temp differential crept in as there was a cold snap soon after I started (scope was out all night so well cooled to start).
Hi Blood bean - these were taken on LXD75 mount.
cheers,
Rob
