Hi all,
Imaged this lot at the South Pacific Star Party 2008.
Celestron GPS11 EQ wedge, f3.3 focal reducer, Meade DSIc camera.
Individual exposure times are noted on the image.
The Leo Galaxy Triplet, individually imaged then stitched into one image.
I maintained the images sizes and perspective.
So here a close up view of the three galaxies on the one image that you would normally struggle to see in detail.
I was looking forward to trying out the Meade DSI III at the Star Party.
I could not get the DSI III Meade Envisage software to load on my laptops new hardrive.
I have now solved that issue and hope for clear skies at our WSAAG Linden Observatory site this weekend to give that camera a real try out.
