Hello all,
The skies opened up last tuesday night and I did 2 hours imaging centered on the cometary globule in Scorpius known as The Dark Tower. I used my modded 300D on the WO 110mm ED APO working at f/4.76. Autoguided on a G-11 mount.
I was after the Barnard 44a dark cloud to cause it is suppose to be one of the darkest and sure enough it is pitch black - it appears at right of image.

skies have been overcast ever since....
regards
