Well done Alex, a very worthy winner indeed.

I also enjoyed looking at all the other entries, a very wide and varied interpretation that certainly got me thinking. It is quite educational to see how the theme can be interpreted; it helps me see the world through different eyes.

Hey Ving – how did you manage to find such a clean cactus? I planned a similar photo but the cactus surface was all mottled and I’m certain the Mt Coo-tha Botanic Gardens staff would have thrown me out if I had leant over with a handkerchief! LOL!

Cheers

Dennis

Cheers Dennis, I too really enjoyed the variation of interpretation, I have a couple of those cactae in my back yard, and have since taken a similar photo for my little collection.

Congrats Alex.
Glad that my stuffed-up-vote had no ill-effect on the end result.

LOL! Yes, let’s start a mutiny and demand the old method be re-instated, where peoples names were shown against their photo, not a number that can me misread!:lol::lol:

Cheers

Heh, nah, I just had a blonde moment.
Maybe PC could edit the first post to include the first entry when it's received?
That way the post and entry#'s would be the same.

Or maybe I should just be more careful in future! :D

Congrats Alex - great photo. It was exciting seeing how people would interpret the subject. I thought all shots fitted the subject well, especially the cactus shot and Dumbrellas - great work guys.

Looking forward to watching this month's entries too
