Hi
Heres a test image with my new 450D, my Aunts chicken(a great egg layer). Taken with standard kit lens off my old 300D, flash used 200th sec ISO800 f8. As you can see the AF is very accurate and far quicker than my old 300D. Standard quality JPEG.

over 2mb jpeg
Mike, please feel free to delete after a week if its taking up too much space. I find going from 6MP, to 12MP with daytime imaging cameras makes a huge difference to computer processing , the PC struggles more with the big images especially if RAW as they are 14 bit. Its a brilliant camera though, light weiight (feels less with kit lens on than 300D body only) and a surprisingly long battery life
