Hi Guys,

I have probably asked this question before, but can't remember the answer.

At present I'm using the Philips Toucam for auto guiding with PHD, and it works quite fine, unless the guide stars are limited, and this happens occasionally whilst searching for certain objects.

My question is this, what would be a reasonably priced guide camera that would give me a bit more sensitivity, and still use PHD as the software.

I would love a $10.000 SBIG, but that is out of the question at this point in time.

Thank You.

Leon

Yep that seems to be the answer, and a reasonable price as well, thank you for your response.

Hi Leon,

If you buy a QHY5(QGuider) guider you will get the same camera as Orion StarShoot guider but it will save around $60 :-)

cheers,

Michael
