Last couple of weeks ive been toughing out a toothache but last night whilst observing/imaging it reached a point where it felt like M ALi himself was sparring me .Took some time in leiu off work and went and saw my denist {a funky indian bollywood styled bloke}, typically only time available was 2pm so i had to dwell on it for most of the day. The denist did the filling but told me it could be temporary fix and i might need a root canal .....heres the knockout , that procedure can cost up and over a grand :scared:.....geez i thought the cost of the filling was excessive i nearly had to visit the doc next door after hearing the root canal /crown price :scared2: ......so moral to the story dont drink COKE while stargazing

That is excessive. I had one done a couple of years back and it cost me half that. Its a long tedious multiple visit event. I hate going to the dentist but I hate toothaches more.
My sympathies to you.

I can sympathise wholeheartedly... a recent root canal job plus gold crown lightened my wallet by almost half the price of a new Meade LX200-8!

My root canal the other week cost $1100. He did it over 2 visits 4 weeks apart. Good luck with yours, hope it isn't too awful.

PS. Sigh, I'll never save up for this scope.
