I was in JB last night and noticed this dvd set. I already have the "complete series" of the orginal, but I do seem to recall seeing episodes when they actually made it to Earth...but not in the complete collection. So I bought it anyway :D (20 something dollars) Comparing the titles of episodes, it appears they are different...hmmm.....I always thought a "complete series" of something would be, well, "complete". I just have to find some time to watch them, pretty hard to find time now BB has started

I remembered there being more episodes after the originals. Amazon had it available from beginning of March. Only a few of the original artists were retained and it got canned after 10 episodes. Not bad though, sticks pretty well to the original format.

I hope this should help.

My understanding is that the first 3 episodes was the Tele-movie in 1978.

Actually, it was cloudy in Melbourne (and cold) and I had a few spare minutes...so I have watched the first 3 episodes. Now I can remember seeing it.

It has a couple of "known" actors..."Mike Brady" and the guy from "Emergency 51" or something like that...Kent McCord? The same Adama (Lorne Green...I always thought his parents must have had a sense of humour when they named him). A couple of other characters. A bit of light humour thrown in, tongue in cheek. I thought it must have just been released as I haven't seen it around before.

Also saw "UFO" on DVDs for the last 21 episodes, but they didn't have the first 7. Thinking about getting that one too...beats BB!

I hope you have been watching the re-imagined Battlestar series. It's very, very good.

I watched most of the first series of the "new" Battlestar, but it never got me in. I find it hard to watch TV when they obviously don't have the money to afford a tripod to put the camera on....makes my head spin.
