Hi!

I recently purchased an SkyWatcher HEQ5 Pro mount for my 8" Meade SCT. I no longer need the forks, the wedge and the field tripod. I also (regrettably) no longer need the Argo Navis.

The Meade 8" LX50 mount was great for visual observing, especially in combination with the Argo Navis system. Argo Navis is pure pleasure to use, and I miss it on the HEQ5 Pro mount. However, I have gone this way because I want to get into photography, and the LX50 forks were not really suitable for that.

So, the LX50 forks (*** Forks sold***), the wedge (***wedge is sold***) and the field tripod are up for sale. Make an offer! Perhaps the forks can provide source for spare parts for an aging LX50. The Jordon Blessing dec upgrade kit has been installed on the forks, as well as a lattitude adjuster. Everything worked properly the last time it was all together. Also the tripod was adapted slightly so that the acccessory tray can be tightened up before the wedge is put on.

The Argo Navis and encoder kit are also for sale: The Argo Navis (incl. 12 volt power cable and serial cable) for $400. (Argo Navis is ***SOLD***) Meade 8" LX50 encoder cable kit for $200. (Perhaps a D.I.Y.er can adapt it to their own setup. The encoders are 4096 step optical encoders, with a doubling wheel or band. See the photo for the details.) The original cd is included, but it would be better to download the latest software and manual from the Wildcard-Innovations website. The Argo Navis has been updated to version 2, as you can see in the attached photos. I have printed an A5 format of the version 2.0 manual. There is also a tray to hold the Argo Navis on the tripod. I had also added instructions for setting up the LX50 and Argo Navis into the tray.

Thanks
Noel

(P.S. I am willing to negotiate the lot as one sale, or each item individually.)
