bit bored today Mike - rain and flooding here - sunny skies back in canberra???What did we do to deserve this??? But i suppose it allows you to reprocess and show us these tid bits!!

Looking for a big wooden ark .... my garage has been flooded (again !!!).

I wonder if the jewfish are on the bite on Stockton and Nobby's breakwaters ? Too bad I've got no whole jewsized whole squid in the freezer (only some bottle squid), and not got any livies. Might have to settle for using whole fillets of mullet if I can some fresh whole mullet at the coop tomorrow .... Dammit.

Can forget about chasing nigger for the next couple of weeks too .... the seas will have removed any wire weed or cabbage off the rock platforms , and there's no weed in the stormwater drains now the rain will have seen to that. Double dammit !!

Back to the books - exam next Friday.

Well, thats maybe not quite right :P, anyway, impressive for a crop on a refractor/large chip. Often widefield heavily croped looks like crap, not the case here, very imressive. Sheesh, give NB a go punk, more colourfull, I recon youd cream it :thumbsup:

Yeh yeh yeh.. in a perfect world I'd have a long FL "and" a shorter FL but having the mid range FL in pristene optics allows me both in one scope :D

That Keyhole looks like a Sidney Nolan...very nice piece of art that! :lol:

Don't worry mate, Astronomik narrow band filters are not far away :thumbsup:

Fishing....the other gentleman's pastime.....speaking of which, last night....too much cloud so I went fishing instead of observing. Got busted off twice by two large rock cod. Got their heads under the rocks and that was it....goodnight fish.

Cheers Phil, I posted the full frame a few weeks back, just got bored today with all the rain.



Thanks Andrew, this was taken at pretty low altitude too so perhaps I have another crack now that it i sgetting higher, only 60min of data too spread over the LHaRG&B so that ain't much at all.

Cheers Rob, as I have mentioned to others, this was a quicky right at the end of an all night imaging run 6 weeks ago. Eta was still pretty low and the sun was coming so I snapped what I could 10min each R,G & B + 10min Lum and 20min Ha that was it. It went together easily and needed little processing. Funny how some of our best images can come from the least work :)

Have thought about it a few times as yes could make something pretty special, trouble is I don't have the patience without a permanent observatory. A nice mosaic will be high on my to-do list if I ever get an observatory again though.
