Captured Iridium 15 as it was heading south this afternoon. It was a difficult target at 18:13 but it turned out alright. I had to keep the exposure down to 8sec to avoid an over exposure. It was very close to the Scorpion and very bright at -5 mag. Can't wait for the ISS and hopefully STS 114 Discovery to grace our sky. :)

Great shot Mick ... Iridium are often a highlight of our observing night, especilly for those who have never seen one before

Great shot Mick, excellent capture. And it sure is hard at that time of night.
Thanks fellas, but things do go wrong sometimes. Here is, or what should have been a beautiful photo of Iridium 42 at -7mag with a bright star cross. Taken this morning. :ashamed:
