The mount is a Stellarvue M4 German Equatorial Mount. It features a Motor RA drive, along with controller pad, battery pack/leads etc, also has to 2 manual slow motion knobs.

roughly how heavy is the pier?

The mount is an M4 Stellarvue mount (supposedly a chinese copy of a Takahashi mount)

The pier would have to weigh 20-30kgs, so would be pick up only.
